Stacked diagrams, also known as stacked bar graphs or stacked charts, are a type of diagram used to represent and compare multiple data series that are stacked on top of each other. They are different from Venn diagrams, which are used to show all possible logical relations between a finite collection of different sets. While Venn diagrams are used to depict relationships and intersections between sets, stacked diagrams are used to show part-to-whole relationships and how each category contributes to the total.
