A standard Venn diagram is a diagram that shows all possible logical relations between a finite collection of different sets. Each set is represented by a circle. The circle size represents the importance of the group. Overlapping circles show what two sets have in common. A cluster diagram, on the other hand, is a type of diagram which represents data or items that are related to each other. The related items are grouped together to form 'clusters'. Unlike Venn diagrams, cluster diagrams do not necessarily show logical relationships between the groups, but rather group similar items together.
